You might know someone that seems to live on their Snapchat, but, what they might not know, is that the more you use the app, the more storage it takes up on your phone as it caches information. And if you just can’t say goodbye to Angry Birds or Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, cut back your usage from every day to a few days a week to keep the app from storing more and more data on your device. You’ll be surprised at how much more space you’ll free up. So, go over your phone and delete those games that you loved a year ago, but stopped playing and don’t use anymore. Games you download on your phone can be sneaky stealers of your space and data, especially if you play them often. So, if you primarily use Facebook to post photos and talk to friends, and only use the messaging app to talk to a few people, get rid of the app on your phone, and just wait to reply to messages on your laptop or PC. The app is constantly caching information about your usage to your device – and all that info ends up staying on your phone.
